Looking for an address for a cabin my parents own in the area, we moved to california in 1973 and have not been back since. I'd love to find it .As I remember as a teenager there was a restuarant/bar in front of our cabin called Tillys. Have you ever heard of it?

I just found out the tillys was really the sigel hotel. Is there still a log cabin behind it? If so I"d love to get in contact will the current owner.Or find some pictures of it

I have not figured out how to transfer photos to this site - - when I do they will be available. I assure you that the area is as beautiful as it used to be with possibly a few more conveniences.

Do you have any photos of the Sigel hotel? Do you know the history of the hotel? Has it been there since 1973?(thats the last time I was there)

Just a note to thank the township (Twp) staff for all the hard work that they do. I own a camp on Belltown Road and stopped in to the Twp office several weeks ago to get a copy of a tax map. The staff could not have been more helpful and pleasant to deal with.

Just a follow-up on the last post regarding stolen items. Sorry to hear that this type of activity is taking place. I have a camp approx. 1/2 mile up river from Clarington. I am fortunate enough to be at camp at least 3 or 4 times per month. When at camp I am always on the look out for suspicious activity. If I ever believed that something wrong was taking place, I would not hesitate to contact law enforcement. I hope that the many others who have camps in our area share my understanding that as property owners, we should always look out for eachother!

My parent own a cabin off of rte 36. There is no address. There used to be a bar/restuarant in front called Tilly's. back in 1973. could this be the sigel hotel now?

hi georgia
the address for the sigel hotel is 9960 route 36 sigel pa 15860. i think the cabin you are talking about is still there. it is not used at this time and could probably be bought from the current owner.

Tiffany-I just found this web site again and tried the address for the sigel hotel. Thank you so much for your help.I'm not sure if it is the same place I was referring to? The last time we were there was back in 1973. Was it called the Sigel hotel back then? Do you live in the area? Could you email me back at gsilverman@socal.rr.com. I'd like to ask you a few more questions..Thanks again Georgia ps. the reason I'm asking is, my parents are thinking of selling the cabin, and I need to find out what it is worth.

I'm currently experiencing a editing problem with the site and cannot make any updates. As soon as the problem is resolved I will bring it up to date. Terry

Learned of your site on PSATS Discussion group - great job for $.00 cost. Your email link on the home page only includes part of the address and therefore does not work when you press it to email to you. Thought you'd want to fix this, as your home page is very informative and may encourage people to email you for additional information from that first page. Keep up the good work. The green and trees on the home page is a restful first impression . . . like a walk in the forest and by your creek!
